GBED pre-k CURRICULUM
STEP REP as stated, is a preparatory approach to the mental, emotional and environmental growth of a child's life foundation. It is critical to proper development, especially in a less than ideal family environment. This is not to say that a sufficiently contained family and community always provide all necessary components of proper child develop. Instead it is saying that the absence or presence of certain needs are determinative of life outcomes for children.

As such, the G.BED Pre-K curriculum is a developmental tool which compensates for deficiencies commonly found in underserved children. It specifically focuses on developing the literacy and math essentials. It also concentrates on developing the building blocks of discipline, character, and social awareness concerning right and wrong behaviors.
Its main focus is to provide the foundation for positive life outcomes through development of the aforementioned essentials which may be deficient.

KINDERGARTEN THROUGH FIFTH GRADE CURRICULUM
The purpose of the PreK curriculum is to prepare the child and family for the transition from the child centered approach commonly used in early childhood settings to the teacher centered protocols found in most elementary school settings.

With all learning reliant on foundation and scaffolding, the grade appropriate curriculum purposes to maintain a child's efficacy throughout the ascending learning process.
